We have finally made it to Big Sandy, Montana! IX Ranch Manager Richard Roth has welcomed us warmly and has been more accommodating than we could have asked.
We are working alongside the IX team here just on the outskirts of the Bear Paw Mountains getting ready for a big day in the Cow Calf operation, which is “Sorting” day.
On Tuesday we will be sorting Cow – Heifer pairs from Cow-Steer pairs. In total we will work 900 pairs of cows and calves. That means 1,800 head of cattle! It’s a very big day and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
Here are some shots of our amazing cinematographer Alex Walker, who is capturing the Spirit of the West with his keen sense and talent.
Feeling extremely blessed to be here and I thank the Lord for it!
Stay tuned for the big Sorting day on Tuesday!
